"In transcribing these works I have attempted to remain true to the composer's intentions while making the music as flute friendly as possible. For the Chromatic Fantasy, which was originally for keyboard, I chose to use the BWV 903a version that Bach wrote of the first 23 measures rather than the more often played BWV 903 since it was better suited for flute."
