Description |
Selections from the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah. Arranged for flute and bassoon duet and optional keyboard (harpsichord). Not easy music, but it is accessible. Duet part has 16 pages of music. The harpsichord part adds a nice Baroque flavor to the music, but it is optional.
The music includes: Overture, O Thou that Tellest Good Tidings to Zion, For Unto Us a Child is Born, Pastoral Symphony, and Glory to God
The audio sample is "For Unto Us a Child is Born" to listen to. This is a version for flute and clarinet. All other versions are similar, but adjusted to work with the instruments being used. |
