Description |
William Boyce was an English composer who lived between 1711 and 1779. In 1737 he became the director of the Three Choirs Festival and wrote his "Worcester Overture" which later was published as Symphony #8. His music is lively and delightful and in some ways his music sounded more like Handel than Handel himself did. Symphony #8 has three movements and this is a complete setting for four flutes with an alternate part for alto flute (4th part). It comes with score and parts. |
