Clara Schumann was Robert Schumann's wife and a fine pianist and composer in her own right. This is warm, beautiful music and well suited to this combination. This sheet music includes separate parts. Four movements.

John Gibson 10 Sep 2018: Franklin Stover - " in transcribing the violin part to clarinet, did you make available the full range of the clarinet (including notes below G)?" No, I kept the low range of the violin as written with the lowest note G. There may be a few places in the piece that would benefit from the clarinet's lower range, but mostly it has to do with Schumann's own blending and tonalities. It would only add notes a 4th lower and the cello covers those as well. The short answer is that I could have, but chose not to. Thanks! John
